After graduating in May of 2019 from Michigan State University with my degree in Marketing from the Broad College of Business, I quickly made my move away from my home state to a new city - Atlanta, Georgia! Here I joined the Georgia Pacific team, a Koch Industries company, as a JumpStart Associate. The JumpStart Program is a rotational developmental program, designed with college graduates in mind helping us to transition from college to career through multiple 6 weeks of developmental rotations until a final full-time position is accepted. First Rotation: SFE Internal Marketing Training Video Project
June - August 2019
• Created 9 internal marketing videos used for training purposes and pre-work for the National Business Meeting as a part of the Sales Force Effectiveness team
• Worked with different aspects of the GP Pro. business including category, SDR, & customer marketing teams
• Developed creative ways to relay messages and training through writing scripts, filming footage, editing on Camtasia video editing software, & following up with many rounds of legal review
Second Rotation: SFE NBM Training Assets
August- September 2019
• Worked under the SFE team creating new Internal Training Assets and assisting with our National Sales Meeting event planning logistics
Virtual Sales: Sales Development Representative
August 2019 - Nov. 2019
• Woked within the Virtual Sales team as a Sales Development Representative meeting daily call quotas of 70 calls reaching prospective customers to generate sales & qualified leads
Third Rotation: Healthcare Team SFDC Optimization
September - Nov. 2019
• For my third and final rotation, I joined the Healthcare team working to optimize our SFDC accounts of individual hospitals and IDNs
Final Full-Time Role: Virtual Customer Development Leader
Nov. 2019 - Present
• Worked as a Cross-Market Virtual Customer Development Leader in B2B sales handled some 250 + distributor accounts across the United States in each of our 9 GP Markets with the responsibility of communication and account management
• Handled product allocation, third party contracting, pricing & day to day communications with my distributor accounts keeping the customer at the heart of my work
Rally Foundation & GP Pro Fundraising Co-Chairmen
Nov. 2019 - Present
• Lead as Co-Head Chairman of GP & Rally Foundation relationship, planning yearly initiatives to fundraise for Childhood Cancer Research with Rally & coordinating GP's involvement in the annual Rally Bash event as a silver level partner
• Partnered closely with GP leadership to incorporate our Rally partnership in our National Sales Meeting of 2019 helping to raise $1 million dollars for the Rally Foundation
